It will take you a couple of years to become an authoritative blogger and it can take you a couple of minutes to damage your credibility, if you make one of the following mistakes. I am not about deliberate violations of some rules, but let’s be honest in order to violate the rules, you have at least to know them. There are some errors that you will never make people believe you made intentionally, you are welcome get familiar with them:

• Improper Use of the Apostrophe

Let me remind you that we can use apostrophes only in two cases: for contractions and to show possession. You’d better think twice and if you still have some hesitations, forget about it leave your words as they are, without an apostrophe.

• different THAN or FROM

It goes without saying, that readers will understand you, but it is a kind of blatant mistake. Be careful and always remember, that things are different FROM one another.

• lOOse or lOse

It is one of the commonly made mistakes and sometimes most bloggers even consult dictionaries in order to tell loose from lose. Just one example, to show you the difference: my dress is too lOOse, I am afraid I can lOse it.
